Protein-packed Gluten-Free Lentil Wraps
Silky smooth, naturally protein-rich lentil wraps with just the right chew. They are great for wraps, tacos, or even fusion-style spring rolls or dosa. These wraps are super light with a subtle nutty flavor and make a wholesome, protein-packed meal ideal for those looking for healthier option during this Ramadan period.
Ingredients
150 gm dry red lentils
360 ml water
½ tsp salt
Instructions
Method
1. Rinse lentils.
2. Cover lentils with water and soak for at least 6 hours or overnight.
3. Rinse the soaked lentils again and pour them into a blender.
4. Add water and salt and blend until a smooth batter is formed.
5. Add a little oil in a non-stick pan.
6. Cooking on a medium-low heat, pour enough batter onto the pan. Spread the batter with the back of a spoon to make a thin crepe.
7. Cook for about 2- 3minutes. Flip it over when the edges start pulling away from the pan, and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes.
8. Once cooked, transfer to a plate, covered with a damp kitchen towel.
9. Repeat this with the remaining batter.
10. Enjoy the wraps with fillings or toppings of your choice.
