Tropical Bliss Smoothie

Sip the colours of paradise. With a burst of tropical flavours, this smoothie has nourishing goodness in every sip. There are four types of different coloured fruits in the mix, and the addition of flax seeds which are protein rich and high in Omega-3 fatty acid, makes it even more nutritious.

Additional information: Flax seeds have gained popularity as a health food, of late. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). These small oil seeds are also a good source of protein and fibre. They may help improve digestion and reduce the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

They can easily be incorporated into your diet. You can add them to soups, smoothies, oatmeal porridge, cakes, cookies and your favourite beverage. Just grind the seeds and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
